There is an instrument rental meeting 7 p.m. Sept. 4 at Northwestern Elementary for students who are new to the fifth grade band.

There will be early dismissal noon Sept. 12. There will be morning kindergarten only that day.

There will be a Partners In Education meeting at 9:45 a.m. Sept. 5 in the cafeteria at Northwestern Elementary.

Parents are invited to attend and learn about the many activities and events planned for the school year.

Some PIE activities include Market Day sales, Boxtops for Education, clothing drives, Fall Fun Festival, book exchange, family roller skating, movie nights and much more.
