Theodore H. "Ted" Reitz, 92, of Wescosville, died Aug. 25, 2014, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Rose (Balint) Reitz. Born in Ironton, he was the son of the late Chester and Mamie (Wotring) Reitz.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He was employed in the vacuum maintenance department of the former Western Electric, Allentown, for 33 years, retiring in 1981.

He is survived by son, Jim T., of Salisbury Township; daughter, Marianne K. and her husband Mark Fegely, of Macungie; brother, Robert, of Northampton; grandsons, Scott S. Quier and his wife, Misty and Kevin B. Quier and his wife, Christine; great-granddaughters, Delia E., Alexis R. and Olivia K. Quier; caregiver, Katherine.
