Joan A. Meck, 79, of Allentown, died Aug. 30, 2014, in her home. She was the wife of the late Donald D. Meck. Born in South Whitehall Township, she was the daughter of the late Harrison E. Sr. and Margaret (Sterne) Litzenberger.

She was a member of Cedar Lutheran Church of Allentown where she was a member of the altar guild and helped with the Sunday school.

She was a presser with Emmaus Shirt Factory and the former Liberty Knitwear of Allentown. She later became a cashier at Suburban Market until retiring.

She enjoyed country western music and baseball.

She is survived by a daughter, Sheila R. and her husband Robert Snyder, of Catasauqua; son, Brian D. and his wife Sharon, of Northampton; grandson, Jayson Snyder and his wife Emily, of Nazareth; great-granddaughter, Lilian Snyder. She was predeceased by a brother, Harrison Jr. and sister, Doris Krause.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Sept. 3 at the Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown. Calling hours 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
