Ruth A. Roth
Ruth A. "Toot" Roth, 67, of Harbor Creek, formerly of New Tripoli, died Aug. 15, 2014, in Select Specialty Hospital, Erie.
She and her husband Dale H. Roth were married 30 years last December.
Born in Edgerton, Wis., she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Inga (Listol) Larson.
A 1965 graduate of Edgerton High School, she was active with the Crimson yearbook staff, cheerleading, homecoming court and the art club.
She was an inventory control manager for Dana Corp., Fogelsville.
A strong supporter of Lehigh Carbon Community College, Schnecksville, she and her husband received the Collegiate Award of Distinction from the college.
She was an election day volunteer and a supporter of Erie Home for Children and Adults.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family cruises with her children and grandchildren were filled with special memories.
An avid reader, she loved nature and feeding animals of all kinds especially birds, turtles and squirrels.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by stepdaughters; Kim Roth of Allentown, Faith and husband, Russell Brown, of Waynesboro, and Marci and husband, Scott Reinert, of New Tripoli; brother Louis Larson of Edgerton, Wisc.; sister Mary and husband, Robert Speers, of Indianapolis, Ind.; and grandchildren Sarah Brown and Derrick and Cody Reinert.
