Nora (Benton) Polgar, 98, died Aug. 7, 2014, in Abington Hospice, Warminster. Born in Brunswick County, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Frank and Loucresia (Allen) Benton. She was the wife of the late Florian A. Polgar for 53 years.
She was a 1934 graduate of Leland High School, Brunswick County, N.C.
She was in the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps during World War II.
She was a member of Fritz Memorial United Methodist Church, Bethlehem, for forty years.She was a current member of Chalfont United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, Larry A. and his wife Machelle of Chalfont; a granddaughter, Janis R. (Stewart) and her husband John Flanagan of Waldorf, Md.; a grandson, David J. and his wife Cheryl Stewart of Bedford, N.H.; a granddaughter, Lauren E. (Polgar) Sprinkle of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; three great-grandchildren, Emily and Tyler Stewart and Shyla Sprinkle; and two sisters, Daisy (Benton) Walker and Carrie A. (Benton) Thorpe.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Theresa A. (Polgar) Stewart.
