Elizabeth M. Springer, 94, of Allentown, formerly of Clearwater, Fla. and Providence, R.I., died Aug. 19, 2014, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Henry C. Springer who died in 2009. Born in Providence, R.I., she was a daughter of the late Edith (Seavor) and Frederick Tyrer.

She was employed as a switchboard operator for Health Industry Answering Service in Providence for over 25 years.

She is survived by a son, William C. and his wife Beverly (Dusty) Springer, of Emmaus, and grandson, Jonathan C. and his fiancee Keelan Hayes, of Norristown. She was predeceased by siblings, George W. Tyrer and Eva Hurley.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.
