James and Maria Yastrop of Catasauqua wait for a serving of cake from Carrie Reese of Catasauqua at the United Church of Christ Bethany Strawberry Festival held this summer at the church in Catasauqua. Visitors had the opportunity to enjoy various foods and fellowship in an outdoor setting. UCC Bethany Pastor Mike Byrd said events like the Strawberry Festival give the church the opportunity to have a good time and reach out to those in the community.
