Lehigh County Coroner Scott M. Grim has identified the woman killed Aug. 17 at Ritz Barbecue, Allentown, as Shirley Dengler, 82, of South Whitehall Township.

Grim pronounced Dengler, who resided at Cedarview Apartments retirement community, dead at 7:20 p.m.

An autopsy was scheduled for Aug. 19 to determine the exact cause of her death.

According to Grim, Dengler was a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle that pinned her against a wall at approximately 6:33 p.m. Aug. 17, in front of Ritz Barbecue on the Allentown Fairgrounds, 302 N. 17th St., Allentown.

Grim's office and the Allentown Police Department are conducting the investigation.
