Kathryn M. Praetorius, 92, of Orefield, died Aug. 16, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of the late Donald Praetorius.

Born Aug. 17, 1921, in Allentown, she was the adopted daughter of the late Charles and Clara (Steigerwalt) Everett, and the biological daughter of the late James and Bessie (Sourwine) Worman.

She was a sales clerk at Sears, Zollingers and Woolworths, Allentown, for several years before retiring.

A member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, she formerly was a choir member and taught Sunday School there for 35 years.

She was a former member of the Lady Lillie Best Rebekah Lodge 222, Schnecksville and a charter member of the former Upper Lehigh Lioness Club.

Her survivors include a son, Larry D. and his wife, Ardie, of North Myrtle Beach, S.C.; daughter, Lynne K. Pruneski and her husband, Larry, of Schnecksville; granddaughters, Nichole A. Cristaldi, and Lauren E. and Sara K. Pruneski; and great-granddaughters Mia and Bella Cristaldi.

Her funeral services will be 11 a.m. Aug. 25, at Union UCC, 5550 Route 873, Neffs, with the Rev. Thomas N. Thomas officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 10-11 a.m. Monday in the church narthex.

Interment will follow the service in the adjacent parish cemetery.
