Around 6:30 p.m. Aug. 13 police served a search warrant at the East Fourth Street address of 36-year-old Alexander Acevedo as part of an ongoing investigation.

Police allegedly found 75 bags of heroin, cash and packaging material.

Acevedo is charged with possession of heroin, intend to deliver and possession of paraphernalia. He was committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $500,000 bail.
