Lee P. George, 49, of Emmaus, died Aug. 17, 2014, in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Mary L. (Trumbauer) George of Emmaus and the late Norman P. "Ted" George.
He was the fourth generation owner and operator of George's Greenhouse since 1987. He was president of the Lehigh Valley Floral Association, former member of the Emmaus Ambulance Corp. and was a charitable contributor to many local organizations.
He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Emmaus.
He is survived by his mother; brother, Russ A. and his wife Christine, of Macungie; longtime friend and coworker, Carol Ernst; godson, Zach Ernst; aunts; uncles; cousins; niece; nephew; many friends.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Aug. 23 in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 22 and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Aug. 23 in the funeral home.
