Jonathan C. Kuhns, 51, of Kunkletown, died Aug. 7, 2014, at his home.

He was the companion of Carla Bortz.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of Paige A. (Mowery) Reinert of Allentown and the late Jerome M. Kuhns.

He had worked as a pipefitter for Worth and Company, Doylestown.

He served in the U.S. Army.

In addition to his mother and companion, he is survived by a brother Jerry M.A. and his wife, Debra, of Newfoundland.

Contributions may be made in his memory to an animal shelter of one's choice.
