Ruth J. Yoder, 92, formerly of Macungie, now of Stone Ridge Poplar Run, died Aug. 5, 2014, in Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late John A. Yoder. Born in Andover, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Harold Humphrey and Estella Diaz and granddaughter of the late Thomas K. and Jennie M. Woodhead.

She was an executive secretary for the William H. Taylor Company and also a secretary for Whitehall Township.

She was a member of Seibert E.C. Church and a life member of Brookside Country Club.

She is survived by a son, David W. and his wife Beverly, of Dataw Island, S.C.; sister, Lori Schmidt; brother, Ronald B. Diaz; granddaughter, Beth A. and her husband Joseph DeAngelis, of Hilton Head, S.C. She was predeceased by a son, Jackie A. and brother, Paul A. Diaz and his wife Leah.
