Public intoxication

Michael Szankovics, 50, of Emmaus, was charged with public intoxication after police responded to the 5000 block of Indian Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, on reports of a male entering a corn field while allegedly under the influence of alcohol 12:47 a.m. July 30.

Retail theft

Jeffrey Dylan Lellis, 22, of Allentown, and Angel Raphel Rodriguez, 31, of Allentown, were charged with retail theft after they allegedly removed a 50-inch LED television without paying from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:10 p.m. July 29. Charges were filed in District Court 31-3-02.

Theft

Reported at Wawa, 3321 Willow Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 7:53 a.m. July 30, a customer dropped and lost his wallet after exiting his vehicle to pump gas. The wallet was returned to store staff but cash was missing from the wallet. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Receiving stolen property

A yellow Volkswagen bus was seen parked along the north shoulder of Interstate 78 at exit 60B, Upper Saucon Township, 2:10 p.m. July 29. A check of the unoccupied vehicle revealed it was reported stolen from New York City. The investigation continues. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Criminal mischief

Reported in the 900 block of South Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors struck a vehicle with an unknown object between 5 p.m. July 27 and 4:58 p.m. July 28. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
