Bruce R. Ganey, DPM, of Allentown, died Aug. 1, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital.

He and his wife Connie E. (Poh) Ganey were married 39 years.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Russell and Magdalene (Belovich) Ganey.

He was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church, Allentown.

A graduate of Penn State University, he earned his degree from Temple University Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine.

He practiced podiatry in Fogelsville and Orefield for 20 years.

An avid Flyers fan, he enjoyed golfing, target shooting and spending time with his grandson Jake.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Sean M. of Allentown; daughter Erin L. of Allentown; grandson Jake; Jill Wardenski; brothers, Thom, Terry and Tim, and his wife, Kim.

He was predeceased by son Ryan.
