Warren J. "Pappy" Reppert, 91, of Barto, died Aug. 2, 2014, at home. He was the husband of Betty E. (Frederic) Reppert. They were married 69 years last April 15. Born in Dorneyville, he was the last of 13 children born to the late Clara E. (Ruff) and Alfred Reppert.

He was a farmer in the Lehigh Valley area for 26 years. He then was employed by the East Penn School District in the maintenance department. The children affectionately called him Sammy. He also worked for Dick Aten at his beverage store in Macungie and had a side lawn care business.

He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Macungie.

He is survived by his wife; son, Larry, of Macungie, daughters, Marlene, of Macungie, Debra and her husband Chester Johnson, of Barto, daughter-in-law Judith, wife of the late Richard, of Macungie; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
