Leonore M. Schanz, 80, of Lower Milford Township, died Aug. 2, 2014, at home. She was the wife of the late Dick "Jim" Schanz who died in 2010. Born in Vera Cruz, she was the daughter of the late Asa and Florence (Muth) Miller.

She was an organist and pianist at Vera Cruz Evangelical Congregational Church.

She is survived by children, Bruce C. and his wife Lori, Ginger L. and her husband William Haines, Michael J. and his wife Linda; brother, Linwood; sisters, Lois and her husband Jim Flexer, Sylvia Rader; grandchildren, Eric, Billy, Zachary and Gregory, Gwen Hamid, Jessica Becker, Bernadette and Emily Haines; great-grandchildren, John, Eleanor, Harrison, Lucy, Olivia and Avery; dedicated caregivers, Olin and Terry Frantz. She was predeceased by sisters, LaRue Yeakel and Doreen Laudenschlager.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Aug. 7 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
