Anthony J. Timar, 84, of Emmaus, died July 31, 2014, in the Phoebe Home, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Dolores M. (Miller) Timar who died Feb. 5, 1989. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Anthony F. and Margaret (Martavus) Timar.
He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus and was an Army Veteran serving during the Korean War.
He was a district manager for the former EFM of Emmaus, formerly General Machine Co., for 37 years until his retirement.
He was a lifetime member of the Emmaus V.F.W.
He is survived by children, Michele and her husband John Eyer, of Emmaus, Michael and his wife Sandra, of Phoenixville, and Susan and her husband David Dreher, of Allentown; grandchildren, Stephanie and her husband Stanley Smith, Melissa and her husband Shawn Kane, Matthew Eyer and his wife Angie, Jenny Eyer, Andrew and Adam, Amy and her husband Patrick Ryan, Lauren, Kelsey and Megan Dreher; great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Regan and Luke Smith, Aidan and Logan Kane, Molly Ryan and twins on the way; sister, Margaret and her husband Donald Feather.
