Virginia D. (Bergstresser) Wright, 85, of Catasauqua, died July 27, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.

She was the wife of the late Norman E. Wright.

Born Feb. 14, 1929, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Victor J. and Ellen M. (Kelchner) Bergstresser.

A custodian at Lehigh Carbon Community College, Schnecksville, for 12 years, she retired in 1992.

She also was a seamstress in various textile mills in the Lehigh Valley for many years.

She attended First Baptist Church of Allentown.

Her survivors include sons Dale E. Hunsicker and his companion, Judy A. Edinger, Kim A. Wright; sisters June A. Smith, Anna E. Jacoby, Helen J. Gregorinci, Carol J. Hausman; brother Glenn F. Bergstresser; four grandchildren; two great-granddaughters.

She was predeceased by siblings Lillian Russo, George and Victor Berg-stresser and Mae Hamm.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. July 31 in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with Pastor Chuck Reed officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

Interment will follow at St. Mark's Cemetery, Allentown.
