The 7th Annual Rough Riders Golf Tournament was held back on Saturday, June 7, at the Willow Brook Golf Club.

There were 132 golfers who participated in this year's tournament, helping to raise over $5,200 for the Catasauqua Booster Club.

This year's champions were Ray Blount, Al Blount, Bill Bradford and Zack Fischl, shooting -16. The runners-up were Wade Caverly, Ryan Faustner, Kyle Prichard and Joey Galm at -14.

"I would like to thank the golfers, hole sponsors, volunteers and many individuals and businesses who made donations for this year's tournament," said Director of Student Activities Tom Moll. "This year's turnout was the largest we have had in the seven years of the tournament. We are already looking forward to next year's tournament and making it even more successful.

"I would like to pass along a special thank you to Mrs. Carol Barczy for the donation of the Willow Brook greens fees in memory of her husband Joe. Joe was a true Rough Rider who always bled brown and white despite living in Northampton. He will be missed."
