Troopers check

on stopped driver

State Police Troop M Bethlehem say Jack Bernard Julo III was allegedly seen 11:13 p.m. July 4 with his hazard lights on in the middle of the Route 22 split to go east or west on Route 476, South Whitehall Township.

Police allegedly saw Julo preparing marijuana in a smoking device.

They allege Julo was under the influence of marijuana while driving.

Car hits tree

in North Whitehall

State Police Troop Bethlehem say Steven H. Davis, 36, of Whitehall, was driving a 2004 Hyundai Tiberon northbound on Coffeetown Road, south of Levans Road, North Whitehall, when he failed to negotiate a right curve in the road. According to police, Davis lost control of the car, which veered off the right side of the road in an uncontrolled spin hitting a tree, before coming to a final rest. Davis, who was wearing his seat belt, was uninjured.

He was charged with a traffic violation.

Gate hinge

damaged

State Police Troop M Bethlehem say an attempt was made to open locked gates belonging to North Whitehall Township between July 2 and 9 at Country Lane and Grist Mill Road.

Police say during the attempt a hinge on one of the gates was damaged.

Items stolen

from vehicles

State Police Troop M Bethlehem say two men, a 19-year-old and a 20-year-old, both from Schnecks-ville entered unlocked vehicles at 5186 Shawnee Blvd., North Whitehall Township, at 12:36 a.m. June 10 and took various items before leaving the scene.

Police say a witness identified the men and charges are pending.

Recovered items are at the state police barracks in Bethlehem. Anyone noticing any items missing from inside their vehicle is asked to call Trooper Godshalk at 610-861-2026 and reference incident No. M01-1532532.
