Shirley A. (Helfrich) Golley, 77, of Coplay, died on July 23, 2014, in her home.

She and her husband Ronald F. Golley would have celebrated their 48th anniversary on July 30.

Born June 6, 1937, in Ruchsville, North Whitehall Township, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Grace (Ruhf) Helfrich.

She was an administrative secretary at Fraser Business Equipment, Bethlehem, for 10 years before retiring.

Previously, she was employed at Air Products and Chemicals, Trexlertown, and the former Giant Cement Co., Egypt.

She was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall, a past president of the former Coplay Republican Club, and was active with the Marching Zephyr Band parents at Whitehall High School.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Scott R. of Berlin, Md.; brother Ernest Helfrich of Austin, Texas; two nieces; two nephews; sister-in-law Faye M. Chew of Seal Beach, Calif.; special cards and bingo playing friend, Nancy, wife of Ralph Eckhart of Whitehall; and canine companion, Moshy.
