Mary E. Hails, 77, from Breinigsville, died July 23, 2014, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown.

She and her husband Thomas A. Hails were married 56 years last September.

Born in Missouri, she was a daughter of the late Rolla and Minnie (Stokes) McKee.

For 38 years, she was a controller for Thomas A. Hails Co., Fogelsville.

Before that, she worked for Western Union for eight years in Kansas City and California.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter Elizabeth Miller of Wescosville; brothers James M. McKee and wife, Ethella, of Green Castle, Mo., Perry McKee and wife, Nola, of Oak Harbor, Wash.; sister-in-law, Helen McKee of Pueblo, Colo.; nieces and nephews.
