James E. Bishop, 85, of North-ampton, died July 19, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospice Inpatient Unit, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Mary Bishop.

He was a son of the late Clyde and Ruth (Butler) Bishop.

He was in the U.S. Army.

He was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church.

He is survived by two sons, Warren and his wife Carol Considine of Jefferson City, Tenn. and Michael J. and his wife Alfie of Bath; a daughter, Mary Considine and her husband Bruce Walters of Goose Creek, S.C; a daughter-in-law, Heidi Bishop of Northampton; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son, James E. Bishop Jr.; and a daughter, Linda Seacrest.
