The Moody Blues, 8:30 p.m. Aug. 5, Steel Stage: This year marks the 50th anniversary of The Moody Blues' formation. The British rock band embarked on its "Timeless Flight Tour" in March. Original members include Justin Hayward, guitar, vocals; John Lodge, bass, vocals, and Graeme Edge, drums. The British Invasion band, formed in 1964 in Birmingham, England, hit the mainstream with its 1967 concept album, "Days of Future Passed." The Moody's hits include the anthems "Nights In White Satin" and "Tuesday Afternoon," as well as "Ride My See Saw," "The Story In Your Eyes," "Isn't Life Strange," "Question," "I'm Just A Singer (In A Rock And Roll Band)," "Your Wildest Dreams" and "I Know You're Out There Somewhere." The Moody Blues have sold in more than 70 million albums worldwide while producing 14 platinum and gold discs.
