Lynn Novick Scheitrum, 58, of Mac-ungie, died in her home July 23, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Carl Scheitrum and daughter of Doris Novick.

She was a graduate of Lehigh University with an MBA (1982) and spent 32 years helping to shape lives at Air Products & Chemicals, also serving as a leader at Skills USA, a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to build a skilled American workforce.

She played a key role in the Emmaus High School Three-Point Club and in constant support of Lower Macungie Youth Association sports. In 2007, she led the Coaches vs. Cancer basketball tip-off event at Emmaus, raising a then-record contribution to the American Cancer Society for a CvC event in the state of Pennsylvania.

She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown.

She is survived by her husband; children, Kristin and son, Kevin and his wife Tay McEvers; mother; brother, Scott Novick and his family.
