Leonard A. Farkas, 76, of Lower Macungie Township, died July 18, 2014. He was the husband of Joan Farkas. Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Paul and Anna Farkas.

He was a graduate of Northampton High School, Class of 1955, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and a past president and treasurer of STM Prime Time Club.

He retired, in 1999, from Lehigh Valley Hospital as the director of engineering and had worked for the Fuller Company.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, David and his wife Barbara and Dennis and his wife Jayne; daughter Lisa and her husband Jeffery Myers; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Julie; and Kyle and Ashley Myers; sister, Yolanda Greenawalt.
