Jeff Klein, born April 26, 1958 in Allentown was a graduate of Emmaus High School, class of 1976 and Brown University, class of 1980. He lived a rich and full life, living and working in Caracas, Venezuela, New York, Los Angeles, Santa Fe, Southern Baja California, Mexico and the San Francisco Bay area and in various industries including music, natural products, fitness and publishing.
Along the way he played activating roles with Private Music, in the career of Yanni, Spinning, Seeds of Change, ChiRunning, and FLOW, and consulted for the Esalen Institute, the National Geographic Society, GlobalGiving, the Institute of Noetic Sciences and Peace Cereal and others.
He worked in various capacities to teach practices of compassionate enterprise, leveraging the power of business for the greater good. He was at the core of the conscious capitalism movement and of Conscious Capitalism, Inc., the organization catalyzing the movement, as a trustee, executive team member and producer of Conscious Capitalism events. He also served as executive director of the Being Human project and executive producer of Being Human events.
He was the author of the book "Working for Good: Making a Difference While Making a Living: and "It's Just Good Business: the Emergence of Conscious Capitalism & the Practice of Working for Good."
He was an avid surfer and passionate father.
A memorial celebration was held at the family farm.
