The Bakery Nook, located in the Egypt Mall, 2355 Old Post Road, Whitehall Township, kicked off its "Sweet 16" Anniversary Celebration July 16 with a ribbon-cutting assisted by the Whitehall Area Chamber of Commerce and North Whitehall Township Manager Jeff Bartlett. Owner Barry Kuntz of Schnecksville has been baking for more than 40 years and operating The Bakery Nook with his wife, Darlene, since 1998. The Kuntzs, above, center, celebrate the milestone with employees Katie-Lynn Wachter, South Whitehall Township; Megan Leibensperger, Emmaus; Mary Ann Hoy, North Whitehall Township; Jodi Oberto, North Whitehall Township, and Mary Inhoff, Catasauqua.
