Crime Watch
meeting set
The Whitehall Township Crime Watch meeting will take place 7 p.m. July 28 at the Whitehall Township Municipal Building, 3219 MacArthur Road.
Crime watch members and all other interested members of the community are invited.
The Honorable Judge Robert C. Halal of District Court 31-1-07 is hosting the meeting and continuing the theme of "taking citizens through a DIU arrest" regarding the changes in DUI laws in a court room setting and his role as a judge.
Crime Watch Meetings are regularly held the fourth Monday of each month and are open to the public.
The Whitehall police responded to these and other calls recently.
JULY 10
· Officers responded to a robbery in the 3000 block of South Second Street.

· A report of a motor vehicle crash brought police to Pine Street.
· Officers responded to a report of a suspicious activity in the 1900 block of Alberta Drive.
· Police were called to Home Depot, 1350 MacArthur Road, to investigate a robbery.
· A report of harassment brought officers to the 700 block of Maryland Circle.
· Police were called to the unit block of Maryland Circle to investigate a robbery.
· An alarm summoned officers to the 1100 block of Livingston Street.
· A request for a protection-from-abuse order brought police to the 3700 block of Lehigh Street.
· Officers responded to an attempted burglary in the unit block of Maryland Circle.

· A report of loud music brought police to the 1300 block of North 13th Street.
· An alarm summoned officers to the 3600 block of Lehigh Street.
· Police responded to a report of a reckless driver in the 4200 block of Spruce Street.
· A report of a loud noise brought officers to Carolina Avenue.
JULY 14
· A report of criminal mischief brought police to the unit block of Madison Lane.
· Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 3800 block of Rosewood Lane.
· A report of retail theft summoned officers to J.C. Penney, 500 Lehigh Valley Mall.
· Officers assisted EMS in the 3100 block of North Third Street.
· A report of an unattended death brought officers to the 900 block of Mickley Road.
· A sounding alarm summoned police to the 800 block of Jefferson Street.
· Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 3400 block of Melrose Lane.
· Police were called to the 500 block of Fullerton Avenue to investigate a report of criminal mischief.
· A report of suspicious activity brought officers to the 1000 block of Pennsylvania Street.

· A report of fraud summoned police to Macy's, 300 Lehigh Valley Mall.
· Officers were called to the 100 block of Johnson Court to investigate a report of an abandoned vehicle.
· A request for a protection-from-abuse order brought police to 1900 block of Sunset Drive.
· A parking complaint summoned officers to Sumner Avenue.
· An alarm summoned police to the 100 block of Cornerstone Place.
· Officers were called to 4100 block of Roosevelt Street to investigate a report of an ordinance violation.
· Police investigated a report of loitering in the 100 block of Crest Drive.
· A report of theft brought officers to the 2300 block of North First Avenue.
· A 911 hang-up brought police to Fellowship Manor, 300 Fellowship Drive.

· A report of criminal mischief summoned officers to the unit block of Maryland Circle.
· Police responded to a report of a disturbance in the 3100 block of St. Stephens Lane.
· Officers were called to City View Diner, 1831 MacArthur Road, to investigate a report of a suspicious person.
· A report of suspicious activity summoned police to the 5100 block of Lincoln Avenue.
· A sounding alarm brought officers to Verizon Wireless, 2180 MacArthur Road.
· Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the 4400 block of Spruce Street.

· Police were called to 3400 Portland Drive to investigate a discharge of a firearm.

· Police responded to an animal complaint the Family Thrift Store, 1025 MacArthur Road.
· Officers were summoned to the 1900 block of Schadt Avenue because of an alarm.
· A report of a runaway brought police to the 1100 block of West Highland Street.
· Officers responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle at the Ramada Inn, 1500 MacArthur Road.

· Police were called to Burger King, 2695 MacArthur Road, to investigate a disturbance.

· A noise complaint brought police to the 1200 block of Broad Street.
· A report of suspicious activity summoned officers to the 1600 block of Harding Circle.
