in hotel lots

Upper Macungie Township Police say several vehicles were entered in hotel parking lots overnight July 12-13.

Windows were broken on locked vehicles and items were removed.

The thefts occurred at Hampton Inn, 4741 Keebler Way, Stay Bridge Suites, 327 Star Road, Hilton Garden Inn, 230 Sycamore Road, Brein-igsville, and Sleep Inn 327 Star Road.

Attempted burglary

Police say an attempted burglary was reported 7:25 p.m. July 17 at a home in the 100 block of Forsythia Lane.

According to police, the attempted burglary occurred over a four-week period.

Entry to the garage was attempted through a window.

Registration plate

Police responded on July 14 to the reported theft of John Betz's registration plate on 1030 Blue Barn Road, Allentown.

A tool was used to cut the plate, Pennslyvania PT7950W, off a trailer.
