Vehicle entered, items stolen

State Police Troop M Bethlehem say Victor Andres Vallejos-Tapia's unlocked vehicle at 2672 Levans Road, North Whitehall, was entered and items were taken sometime between 1 a.m. and 10:40 a.m. July 5.

Police stop driver on Walbert Ave.

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say 28-year-old Christopher Richards, 4500 block of Peters Ave, Orefield, was stopped on Walbert Avenue, between Cedar Crest Boulevard and Ridgeview Drive,for alleged vehicle code violations 1:48 a.m. June 21.

Police say Richards was allegedly driving under the influence.

SUV goes airborne in I-78 crash

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Anissa J. Walker, 43, of Bushkill, was driving a 2010 GMC Terrain eastbound on I-78 in the right lane 2:11 p.m. July 14 when the SUV left the roadway and struck a PennDOT sign, traffic control sign and a tree stump in Upper Macungie.

The undercarriage's impact with a stump caused the SUV to go airborne and strike a fence before landing on its front hood and windshield.

Walker, who was wearing her seat belt, was transported by Kutztown Ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, for treatment.

Fogelsville, Goodwill and Upper Macungie volunteer firefighters assisted at the scene.
