Theft from motor vehicle
Reported in the 6000 block of Pioneer Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors used an unknown object to enter a locked vehicle and remove a watch, sunglasses and sneakers between 8:30 p.m. June 26 and 6:40 a.m. June 27. No damage to the vehicle was seen. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Reported at Weis Supermarket, 3369 Route 100, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors took a red lunch bag containing food and prescription medication from an unlocked black 2008 Chevrolet pickup truck while it was parked in the store parking lot between 9:30 and 9:40 a.m. July 14. Reported in the 900 block of S. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors entered a unlocked vehicle and took a purse and $30 between 10:30 p.m. June 15 and 9 a.m. June 16. Theft
Reported in the 1600 block of Limeport Pike, Lower Milford Township, a black battery operated toy car was taken from the front yard around 12:30 p.m. June 22. The car was designed to look like a Ford pickup truck and was sitting near a "for sale" sign. A faded red vehicle, possibly a station wagon or sport utility vehicle, was spotted turning around in the driveway of the residence around the time the toy disappeared. The driver of the red vehicle was described as a balding white male and a child was in a rear seat of the vehicle. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438
Retail theft
Reported at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, an unknown male actor went through the home appliance section of Walmart and placed a cookware set and vacuum cleaner into his shopping cart. He then fled through an east exit of the store, abandoning the shopping cart with the items at the exit and fleeing on foot through the parking lot. The suspect was not found. The recovered merchandise was valued at $437.96.
Criminal mischief
Reported at Yocco's, 4042 Chestnut St., Upper Milford Township, unknown actors damaged a rear passenger side quarter panel on a Toyota Echo vehicle between noon and 5 p.m. July 2. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Reported at The Hills at Lockridge public restroom, 7100 Scenic View Road, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors damaged the electronic locks on the restroom doors between 9 p.m. July 8 and 7:30 a.m. July 9. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Reported in the 800 block of Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Townshp, unknown actors placed screws in front of three vehicles between 5:30 and 6 p.m. July 10. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Reported in the 2200 block of Goldenrod Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors keyed the left side doors of a 2014 Toyota Camry between 7 p.m. June 15 and 5:30 a.m. June 16.
Access device fraud
Reported in the 1400 block of Kennington Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 12:03 p.m. June 14, unknown actors completed two fraudulent online transactions using a Macy's credit account. The unknown actors attempted to buy a Gucci watch valued at $950 and a pair of Victoria Townsend diamond twist hoop earrings valued at $39.99 and have the merchandise shipped to an address in Rhode Island. The amount charged, including shipping, totaled $1,112.75. Macy's fraud department contacted the cardholder and closed the account. Both orders were canceled. The police investigation continues.
Burglary
Reported at Lehigh Medical Arts Buildling, 5018 Medical Center Circle, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors forced open the front door and, once inside, pried open office doors between 5:30 p.m. June 13 and 10 a.m. June 14. The unknown actors took a total of $120 from office drawers and smashed an office window on the north side of the building before fleeing the area. Reported in the 6600 block of Hauser Road, Lower Macungie Township, a resident returned home and discovered a person in an apartment 12:25 p.m. June 25. The unknown actor exited through a window and fled in an unknown direction. Items were removed from the home. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Reported at Italiano Delite, 1985 Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors forcibly entered the business and stole cash and personal checks 1:36 a.m. June 25. The investigation continues. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Attempted burglary
Reported at Billing Department, Inc., 5930 Hamilton Blvd., Suite 101, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors attempted to break into the business but fled when the security alarm sounded 11:59 p.m. June 17.
