Leona M. Herman, 96, of Allentown, formerly of Orefield, died July 16, 2014, in Blough Health Care Center, Bethlehem.

She was the wife of the late John J. Herman.

Born Feb. 26, 1918, in Lowhill Township, she was the daughter of the late O. John and Lizzie C.S. (Stettler) Laudenslager.

She and her late husband, Herman, owned and operated the former Herman's Drive-in, Guthsville, for 24 years before retiring in 1981.

She was a member of Morgenland Union Church, Orefield, and a charter member of the former Kuhnsville Lioness Club.

Her survivors include a daughter Linda K. Finney of Philadelphia; siblings Elizabeth Fritch of Bethlehem, Louise Heist of Wescosville, Howard Laudenslager of Florida; grandson Sinclair; great-grandchildren Rakim, Allante and Krystal.

She was predeceased by a daughter Carol D. Herman, granddaughter Crystal, sister Catherine Geiger and brother Oliver J.
