Joseph F. Csencsits, 76, of South Whitehall Township, died July 16, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He was the widower of the late Jean (Sedler) Csencsits.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Joseph E. and Celia F. (Fandl) Csencsits.

A former chief steward for Mack Local 677, he was a production assembler for Mack Trucks Inc., Allentown.

A member of the West Coplay Maennerchor, he served his country honorable in the U.S. Army.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Whitehall.

His survivors include his Aunt Hilda Stumpf and Aunt Stella Kristofits; and several cousins.

Services will be 10 a.m. July 24, at Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, with the Rev. Msgr. Albert J. Byrne, officiating.

Viewing 9:30 a.m. Thursday until time of service. Interment in the parish cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church c/o the funeral home.
