The Bath Farmers' Market fifth annual Great Bath Duck Race is coming up July 25.

Adopt a duck and race it down the Monocacy Creek for a chance to win $250.

The duck race is the market's main fundraiser for the year, with 100 percent of the proceeds helping to keep fresh, local foods in your neighborhood.

The race begins at 5:30 p.m. from just under Northampton Street to the finish line at Monocacy Creek Park.

Tickets are available at the market the day of the race. For more information about the race or market, visit www.bathfarmersmarket.org.

During the months of July and August, Emmanuel's Lutheran Church, Valley View Drive, Moore Township, will help the Bath Food Bank by collecting individual serving sizes of macaroni and cheese, Chef Boyardee, Jell-O, puddings, cereals and peanut butter. These items are needed because of summer vacation and children being home during the day. The food bank is also in need of monetary donations.
