Edward Lee Hearn, 92, of Macungie, died July 3, 2014, in Lehigh Center. He was the husband of the late Betty (Generose) Hearn. Born in John Y, W. Va., he was the son of the late John and Myrtle (Kisner) Hearn.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. during World War II.
He was a founding member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church.
He retired from Western Electric/AT&T after 32 years of service.
He was a lifetime member of IBEW, a member of the AT&T Telephone Pioneers and the MORA Club.
He was an avid dancer and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by sons, Edward J. and his wife Susan, of Bethlehem Twp., Mark E. and his wife Suzette, of Cape Corral, Fla., Thomas and his companion Julie Davidson, of Macungie; daughters, Liz and her husband Curtis Pass, of Bethlehem, Mary Moyer, of Catasauqua, Dolores Dalrymple, of Allentown; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by sisters, Betty Julian and Leona Hearn; grandson, Christopher Lee.
