Donald E. Diehl, 81, of Chambersburg, died July 5, 2014, at Providence Place, Chambersburg. He was the husband of the late Marjorie (Kean) Diehl.
Born in Whitehall (Egypt), he was a son of the late Lester and Mabel (Fenstermaker) Diehl.
He was a 1951 graduate of Penn State Technical Institute.
He was a tool designer for 20 years for Fairchild Aircraft, Hagerstown, Md.
He is survived by a brother, Carlton L. Diehl of Daytona Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Marilyn J. Stephen and Dorothy M. Stephen, both of Coplay; a stepson, Robert J. Fleming Sr. of Chambersburg; three stepgrandchildren, Robert J. Fleming Jr., Rachel Wyatt and Jennifer Fleming-Moss; and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a brother, Bruce L. Diehl; and a sister, Brenda E. Diehl.
Arrangements were made by Schisler Funeral Home Inc., Northampton.
