Fatzinger named to dean's list

Danielle Fatzinger of North Catasauqua has been named to the McDaniel College spring 2014 dean's list with highest honors.

Highest honors are earned for a semester grade point average of 3.90 or higher, high honors for a grade-point average of 3.70-3.89 and honors for a 3.50-3.69 average.

Weaver named to dean's list

Maureen Weaver, a 2013 graduate of Northampton Area High School, has completed her freshman year at Lehigh University and made the dean's list for the 2014 spring semester.

Weaver is enrolled in the College of Business and Economics, planning to pursue a double major in economics and finance.

She is the daughter of George and MaryAnn Weaver of Allen Township.

Local students graduate

The following local students graduated from Kutztown University May 10.

Gina Chorab of Catasauqua earned a bachelor's degree elementary education for grades 4-8 in science and social studies, cum laude.

Jessica D Lebron of Catasauqua earned a bachelor's degree in arts English/cultural and media studies.

Amber Nicole Morrissey of Catasauqua earned a bachelor's degree in psychology.

Dea Musa of Catasauqua earned a bachelor's degree in geology, summa cum laude.
