William P. Dinbokowitz Sr., 85, of Whitehall, died July 4, 2014. He was the husband of Julia C. Dinbokowitz for 67 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Joseph and Theresa Dinbokowitz.
He was the owner of Dinbokowitz Marine Inc., Whitehall, for 58 years. He worked for the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 33 years until retiring. He was a licensed notary.
He was a member of the former St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church, Catasauqua.
He was a member of the North Catasauqua Boat Club, the National Marine Manufacturing Association and the Masonic Lodge, Allentown.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by five sons, William Jr. and his wife Joan of Whitehall, John Sr. and his wife Ellen of Arizona, and Joseph, Robert, and Thomas and his wife Mary, all of Whitehall; five daughters, Linda and her husband Robert Williams of Allentown, Joan and Donna of Whitehall, Jeanette and her husband John Smith of Nazareth, and Wendy and her husband Dave Irvine of Branchburg, N.J.; 18 grandchildren, Cindy, William, James, John Jr., Troy, Robert, Donnie, Kimberlee, Brian, Catherine, Rachel, Thomas Jr., Joseph Jr., St. John, Julia, Dylan, Carys and Nicholas William; 23 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; a sister, Rose Prinz of New Tripoli; nieces; and nephews.
Calling hours are 9:15 -10:15 a.m. July 10 at the funeral home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. July 10 at the church, 1001 Second St., Catasauqua, 18032.
