State Police

MAY 1

· Police were called to Catasauqua Road and Troxell Street for a traffic stop. Police said the odor of marijuana was emanating from the suspect and inside the vehicle. The 18-year-old man was given a standard field sobriety test and arrested for DUI, police said. While searching the suspect after the arrest, a bag of marijuana was discovered and the suspect was charged with possession.

MAY 8

· Officers were called to a parking lot located east of the intersection of Airport Road and Lloyd Street, Hanover Township, Lehigh County. According to police, a 20-year-old woman from Bronx, NY, was smoking marijuana in the parking lot. Police conducted a consensual search and found a small amount of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia, police said.

MAY 10

· Officers responded to a report of fraud at BJ's Wholesale Club, 1785 Airport Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County. Police said an unknown actor used a fraudulent credit card.

MAY 14

· Police were called to Postal Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County, for a DUI-related traffic stop.

MAY 22

· Officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Route 22 near Route 191. According to police, John P. Graham, the operator of a Hyundai Elantra, attempted to merge into the right lane when the driver's side front panel of his vehicle struck the passenger side of a GMC Acadia, driven by Melinda Hodge. A second and third collision occurred when Hodge hit the concrete barrier, police said.

· Police were called to the 400 block of Atlas Road, Allen Township, for a DUI. Police said a vehicle crashed into a residence and the operator was found to be under the influence of drugs. A 23-year-old man was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.

MAY 24

· Police were called to Airport Road to investigate a crash. According to officers, a Chevrolet Cobalt traveling north on Airport Road struck an animal, causing minor damage to the car's left door and quarter panel.

MAY 25

· Officers responded to a report of public drunkenness at Knights Inn, 1880 Steelstone Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County. Police reported that a 29-year-old man from Allentown was sweating and throwing his breakfast in the lobby of the Knights Inn.

MAY 26

· Police were called to the 200 block of Pine Cone Court, East Allen Township, to investigate a report of harassment and criminal mischief. Police said the suspect, a 26-year-old man from Catasauqua, pushed the victim and kicked in the door belonging to the victim.

· Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Route 22 near Nazareth Pike. According to police, a Toyota 4S Camry operated by Tawanda R. Burris, 45, of Spartanburg, struck a deer entering the roadway. Officers state that no injuries were reported and the vehicle was towed, police said.

· Police were called to Route 22, near the Fullerton Avenue exit, to investigate a motor vehicle crash. Police said a Honda Civic operated by Seth T. Evans, 18, of Easton, struck a Toyota Sienna driven by John F. Rivera, 40, Allentown. According to police, Evans struck the rear bumper of Rivera's vehicle, then hit the concrete barrier. Minor injuries were reported.

· Officers responded to a crash on Route 22 near Route 33. According to police, Tiffany A. Paterson, driving a Mazda, failed to stop for heavy traffic and lost control of her vehicle, swerving out of control and into the concrete barrier. After striking the barrier the car rolled clockwise onto its roof.

MAY 27

· Officers responded to a report of a burglary in the 100 block of Twinbrook Road, Allen Township. According to police, someone entered the 59-year-old victim's garage and opened a pony motor door on a John Deere tractor. No items were reported missing.

· Police were called to the 900 block of Postal Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County, to investigate a report of a theft from a vehicle. Unknown suspects stole tools from an International Duba Star Truck, according to police reports.

· Officers responded to a report of harassment in the 200 block of McNair Circle, Allen Township. According to police, a 26-year-old female threw a pepper shaker that struck a 24-year-old female in the right eye. The victim suffered minor injuries to her face.

MAY 28

· Officers were called to Bottom Dollar, 1856 Catasauqua Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County, to investigate a report of retail theft. According to police, an unknown actor took a cart full of groceries without paying and fled in a silver vehicle.

· Police responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle on 42 East Bullhead Road, Allen Township, Northampton County. Police said a 75-year-old Scranton woman had her purse taken from her unlocked vehicle.

MAY 29

· Officers responded to a report of a theft at the Waffle House, 1783 Airport Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County. According to police, a 34-year-old man stole the cell phone of a 21-year-old man. The phone was recovered from the suspect.

· Police were called to 13 Country Road, Allen Township, to investigate a report of a theft. Police said a 25-year-old woman, of Hazleton, had her purse stolen from her unlocked vehicle.

MAY 30

· Officers were called to Route 22, near the Fullerton Avenue exit, to investigate a motor vehicle crash. Police reports say that a 2007 Honda Odyssey struck the rear bumper of a 2005 Toyota Avalon. Both vehicles had minor scratches and dents.

· Police were called to Route 22, near the eastbound exit of Route 191, to investigate a motor vehicle crash. According to police, a 2007 Hyundai Entourage failed to slow and swerved into the far left shoulder and struck the median and a 2005 Mercedes-Benz. When the Hyundai swerved, a 1996 Toyota was unable to slow down and struck the Mercedes-Benz from behind, which then prevented a 2004 Chevrolet Blazer from slowing down, striking the Toyota. Six people were injured.

· Officers investigated a report of criminal mischief in the 3200 block of Eisenhower Drive. Police said unknown suspects ignited a portable toilet causing the toilet to melt.

· Police stopped a 27-year-old Allentown woman on Airport Road North for suspicion of a DUI.

MAY 31

· Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Schoenersville road in Northampton County. According to police, Robert A. Bird was operating a 2004 Oldsmobile Silhouette, when he tried to make a left turn from Airport Road to Schoenersville Road and struck the center traffic island. There were no injuries.

· Police were called to Target, 912 Airport Center Drive, to investigate a retail theft. Police said Target Loss Prevention Officers saw a 21-year-old woman, along with two juveniles, removing merchandise from the shelves and exit the store without paying for it.

JUNE 1

· Police were called to Catasauqua Road, Hanover Township to investigate a report of a motor vehicle crash. The driver of a Toyota Camry, Max E. Duy, 51, of Corona, NY struck a Toyota Scion, operated by Loretta A. Becker, of Allentown, when Duy attempted to make an unsafe lane change, according to police.

· Officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Nor-Bath Boulevard. According to police, Matthew Miller, 27, of Whitehall, struck a deer that jumped in front of his 2014 Dodge Charger.

· Police were called to Airport Road to investigate a motor vehicle crash. According to police, a 2006 Buick Lucerne struck the rear of a 2003 Isuzu Axiom. No injuries were reported.

· Officers responded to a report of a retail theft at Plato's Closet, Hanover Township, Lehigh County. According to police, two individuals stole clothing from a sidewalk sale and were in possession of controlled substances as well as drug paraphernalia.

JUNE 2

· Officers were called to the 6400 block of Stone Post Road, to investigate a report of a missing person. According to police, a 24-year-old woman ran away from home, she was found and transported to Muhlenberg Hospital.

JUNE 4

· Police investigated an accident that took place on Nor-Bath Boulevard. Police said a 2014 Mercedes-Benz was stopped at a red light when a Chevrolet Impala struck the rear bumper of the Mercedes-Benz. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

JUNE 6

· Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct on Race Street and Willowbrook Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County. Police said a 21-year-old man exited his vehicle at a traffic light and banged on a 61-year-old woman's passenger side window.

JUNE 9

· Officers were called to the 8200 block of Morgan Street to investigate a report of harassment. Police said it was a domestic dispute between a grandmother and her grandson in which the grandson verbally threatened to kill his grandmother and hit her with a closed fist.

JUNE 10

· Police investigated a report of a protection from abuse violation in the unit block of Easy Street, Allen Township.

· Officers were called to investigate a theft from a motor vehicle in the unit block of Jennings Run, Allen Township. Police said unknown actors removed packaging tape and a phone charger.

JUNE 11

· Police were called to Nor-Bath Boulevard near Airport Road for a report of a motor vehicle crash. A Ford Taurus, operated by Leeann Bossons, struck a Subaru Forester, operated by Linda Powell, which had been stopped for a traffic light.

JUNE 12

· A report of criminal mischief summoned police to the unit block of Church Road, Allen Township. Police said someone damaged a mailbox.

JUNE 27

· Police responded to a report of a robbery and theft at the Days Inn, 3400 Airport Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County. According to police, two men entered the Days Inn displaying a handgun and took $400 from the cash drawer.
