Frederick R. Gollatz, 78, of Northampton, died July 5, 2014. He was the husband of Irene A. (Drabic) Gollatz for 57 years.

Born in Cementon, he was a son of the late Frank and Helen (Barner) Gollatz.

He worked for many years at Bell Telephone until retiring. He was for several years a courier for Miller's Supply Company, Northampton.

He was a member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Denise and her husband Jack Mickley; three grandchildren, Kristin and her husband Mark Motsko, and Justin and Ryan Mickley; two great-grandchildren, Devin and Madison; and a sister, June Gollatz of Bethlehem.
