Daniel J. Wessner, 58, of Krums-ville, Berks County, died unexpectedly June 29, 2014, in Maxatawny Township.
He and his wife Cynthia D (Bond) Wessner celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary June 8.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Carl J. and Katherine A. (Piger) Wessner.
He had a lifelong love of farming, having formerly worked for Wessner Brothers Farming and currently as a self-employed farmer in Berks County.
A 1973 graduate of Kutztown Area High School, he was a member of New Bethel Church, Kempton.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Jennifer R. Humbles of Collegeville, and Cheryl L., wife of Troy McLaughlin, of Philadelphia; brothers, Bruce C.and wife, Louise E. (Rhode) Wessner, of Kutztown, Dale W. and wife, Sheila J. (Rauch) Wessner, of Kempton, and Roy A. and wife, Elizabeth R. (Sanders) Wessner; grandchildren Ava L. McLaughlin, Lily C.C. Humbles and Lincoln D.J. Humbles.
He was predeceased by a sister Carlene S. (Wessner) Reinhard in 2012.
