Bernice M. Kulp, 75, died June 30, 2014, at her home in Bethlehem. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Homer and Pauline (Biery) Miller. She was the wife of Willard Kulp for 54 years.
She was a 1957 graduate of Allentown High School.
She was a supervisor for the Bethlehem office of the state revenue department.
She was a member of Christ U.C.C., Schoenersville, where she was a choir member for many years and a past council president.
She was a 26 year member of the Lion's Club and was twice a District 14-K governor. She was a past president of both the Allen-East Allen and the Hanover Township Lion's Clubs. She received many awards including the presidential medal from Lion's International, the Joseph Wrobleski Fellow and the Two Diamond Melvin Jones Fellow awards. She was a past worthy matron of the Rose Croix and the former Jessie K. Berlin Chapter 492, Order of the Eastern Star. She was Girl Scout and an area chairman for Girl Scouts of America. She chaired the construction of a Habitat for Humanity house in south Bethlehem.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Sharon and her husband Perry Hartmann of Milford and Donna and her husband Edward Erney of Bethlehem; a son, Daryl Kulp and his companion Debbie Hower of Bethlehem; five grandchildren, Tyler, Joshua and Zach Erney and Garret and Sierra Hartmann; and two sisters, Beverly and her husband William Thomas of Breinigsville and Barbara and her husband Gary Michael of Danielsville.
