Theft

Reported by a 16-year-old male, of Wescosville, in the 7000 block of Heather Road, Lower Macungie Township, an unknown actor stole the teen's iPhone 5S smartphone during a party between 8:30 and 11:30 p.m. June 6. The total value of the phone was $600. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Reported by an Allentown man, 58, at Lehigh Center Nursing Home, 1718 Springcreek Road, Lower Macungie Township, an unknown actor removed a wallet from a work bag on a counter near the refrigerator in the nourishment center room between 6:30 p.m. June 12 and 9:30 a.m. June 13. The wallet contained cash and miscellaneous credit cards and is valued at $80. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

DUI

An unnamed Emmaus man, 40, was arrested for driving under the influence after a traffic stop for an inoperable headlight 2:43 a.m. June 15 at the intersection of East Harrison and Lee streets in Emmaus borough. The man was taken to Lehigh County Central Booking Center for processing.

Retail theft

Reported at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, an unknown male actor went through the home appliance section of Walmart and placed a cookware set and vacuum cleaner into his shopping cart. He then fled through an east exit of the store, abandoning the shopping cart with the items at the exit and fleeing on foot through the parking lot. The suspect was not found. The recovered merchandise was valued at $437.96.
