Jean L. Holben, 86, died June 26, 2014, in The Lutheran Home at Topton.

She resided for the past 25 years in Kempton, with her companion, Earl Odenheimer.

Born in Weisenberg Township, she was a daughter of the late Willie G. and Millie (Gunkle) Holben.

She was a retired federal employee of 26 years for Social Security.

A member of the Claussville Garden Club, Trexlertown Senior Citizen's and NARFE, she was for many years involved in the Lynn Heidelberg Historical Society, New Tripoli.

In addition to her companion, she is survived by a daughter, Diane, wife of Michael Granitz; son Alan Williams; grandsons Matthew Bowman, Stephen Granitz and Thomas Williams; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother, Gilbert, and sister, Myrtle, and son Scott Williams.
