Helga I. DeRalph, 77, from New Tripoli, died on June 27, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born July 3, 1936, in Berlin, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Hans and Lucie (Bellach) Lorke.

An independent nurse's aide, she worked in the Lehigh Valley for many years before retiring.

She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall.

Her survivors include a son, Fred E. Patterson of Lehighton; daughters Angela E. Patterson and Donna H. Dellecker and her husband, Troy, all of New Tripoli, Monica J.J. Pompa and her husband, Domenico, of Allentown; brother Wolfgang Bellach and his wife, Dagmar, of Berlin, Germany; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a brother, Werner Ballach.
