Theft reported
A resident of the 100 block of South Second Street reported the theft of a gas can from the balcony of an apartment.
She told police Sunday the theft took place overnight. The gas can was valued at $20, police said.
Fireworks reported
A report of fireworks being set off at 2:10 a.m. Sunday brought Coplay police to the area of South Front and Hokendauqua streets.
Officers combed the area and were unable to locate the fireworks, police said.
Utility pole falls
An ice truck pulling out from the owner's business at Ninth and Chestnut streets pulled down of a utility pole June 14, according to police.
Coplay Fire Department and PPL responded to the call, police said.
Fire alarm sounds
A reported fire alarm on June 24 brought police to the unit block of South Front Street.
The patrol officer reported an air freshener on the stove melted, causing the alarm to be set off, police said.
