MAY 21

· Troopers responded to a crash on Route 22 near MacArthur Road, according to police records. The driver of a Volkswagen Jetta, Rachel A. Cornman, 31, of Bethlehem, struck a Dodge Charger, driven by Edward L. Meyers, 59, of Levittown. Police records say Cornman failed to observe Meyers slowing down for traffic and hit his vehicle in the rear. The Jetta sustained disabling damage to its front end.

MAY 22

· Officers were called to Route 22 westbound at the MacArthur Road off ramp to investigate a motor vehicle accident. A Nissan Sentra, driven by Darlene T. Muhr, 52, of Allentown, hit a Peterbilt 94P, operated by Brent A. Backenstoes, 52, of Germansville. According to police records, Muhr attempted to merge into the left lane, where Backenstoes' vehicle was, and struck the Peterbilt, damaging both vehicles.

· Troopers were summoned to Route 22 east, near the Fullerton Avenue exit, to investigate a crash. According to police reports, an Infiniti QXS, driven by Nahi E. Ajami, 38, of Allentown, traveled across the left lane, hitting the concrete median. The vehicle was then transferred back across both lanes striking the concrete wall on the bridge. Police state that Ajami did not sustain any injuries.

· Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Race Street, near Willowbrook Road, in Hanover Township. Police reports state the collision occurred when a Honda Civic, driven by Rudy O. Paniagua, 36, of Catasauqua, rear ended a Chrysler Town and Country driven by Joseph F. Santostefano, 46, of Bath. Police records indicate that Paniagua failed to slow down in time before hitting Santostefano. A 37-year-old female passenger, riding with Paniagua, suffered major injuries, according to police.

MAY 24

· Police were called to Airport Road to investigate a crash. According to officers, A Chevrolet Cobalt traveling north on Airport Road struck and animal, causing minor damage to the left door and quarter panel.

MAY 25

· Officers responded to a report of public drunkenness at Knights Inn, 1880 Steelstone Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County. Police reported that a 29-year-old man from Allentown was sweating and throwing his breakfast in the lobby of the Knights Inn.

MAY 26

· Police were called to the 200 block of Pine Cone Court, East Allen Township, to investigate a report of harassment and criminal mischief. According to police records, the suspect, a 26-year-old man from Catasauqua, pushed the victim and kicked in the door belonging to the victim.

· Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 22 near Nazareth Pike. According to police, a Toyota 4S Camry operated by Tawanda R. Burris, 45, Spartanburg, struck a deer entering the roadway. Officers state that no injuries were reported and the vehicle was towed.

· Police were called to Route 22, near the Fullerton Avenue exit, to investigate a motor vehicle accident. Police records indicate that a Honda Civic operated by Seth T. Evans, 18, Easton, struck a Toyota Sienna driven by John F. Rivera, 40, Allentown. According to police, Evans struck the rear bumper of Rivera's vehicle, then hit the concrete barrier. Minor injuries were reported.

MAY 27

· Officers responded to a report of a burglary in the 100 block of Twinbrook Road, Allen Township. According to police records, someone entered the 59-year-old victim's garage and opened a pony motor door on a John Deere tractor. No items were reported missing.
