Ronald A. Sauerwine, 62, of Slatington, died on June 10, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born July 9, 1951, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Warren H. and Christine E. (Best) Sauerwine.

He and his brother, Clay, co-owned and operated Sauerwine's Auto Salvage, Washington Township, for the last 42 years.

In addition to his brother and his wife, Pam, of Slatington, he is survived by companion, Mary B. Althouse, with whom he resided; and son Benjamin W. of Walnutport.
